Bay Wheels (formerly Ford GoBike) is the Bay Area’s premier bikeshare system, and one of the largest in the nation. Bay Wheels offers thousands of bikes and hundreds of stations in San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Emeryville, and San Jose. Best of all, it’s available 24/7.
Bay Wheels consists of a fleet of specially-designed, sturdy, and durable bikes that are locked into a network of docking stations in cities throughout the Bay Area. Our bikes can be unlocked from one station and returned to any other station in the system, making them ideal for one-way trips. Bikeshare is a greener, healthier way to get around — whether you’re commuting, running errands, meeting friends for brunch, or exploring in a new city.
The Bay Wheels App lets you purchase rides, unlock a bike, and ride right away. You can also view all station locations, see available bikes and docks, and save your favorites.
